The Ministry of Digital Transformation announced the start of accepting documents to universities at the State Services

On the portal “Gosuslugi” started accepting documents to universities, reported press service of the Ministry of Digital Development in the Telegram channel. Applicants can apply to any five Russian universities with up to five specialties in each, the department specified. They made step-by-step instructions for entering a university online.

Submission of documents takes place without a personal visit to the selection committees, queues and paper documents. You will only need a verified account on the “Gosuslugi”. Applications can be submitted for any form of education (full-time, part-time, etc.), for paid and targeted education, for undergraduate and specialist programs, for a second higher education.

In 2023, 1022 universities are already connected to the service. Those who apply for free education must apply before July 25, for paid education – no later than August 20. “If you have chosen a paid form of education, you can also conclude an agreement with the university online using the State Key application,” the press service of the ministry said.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko informedthat all Russian departments and universities, including those in new regions, are ready to start the admission campaign on June 20. In total, over 626,000 state-funded places have been allocated this year, and 36,000 of them are for universities from new regions. Chernyshenko recalled the innovations of the admission campaign that have been in force since this year. Thus, benefits were introduced for participants in the military special operation in Ukraine and their families, and a mechanism was launched to update admission control figures based on the needs of the country’s economy.
