The Ministry of Digital Development will suspend the issuance of new grants until September 1 and update the composition of the commissions. About it reported in the ministry.

In addition to the fact that the department will suspend the issuance of grants for new developments in the field of IT, the Ministry of Digital Transformation will also assess the competencies of employees of the main grant operator, the Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT), will update the experts and the composition of the bodies that make decisions.

At the same time, it is planned to check the already issued in 2022-2023. grants. If there is no confidence in the “100% purity” of projects, then they will be canceled. The ministry noted that they plan to organize the work in such a way as to exclude the influence of employees of the Ministry of Digital Development on decisions to issue grants.

The verification commission will be headed by the Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev. It will include representatives of the main industry associations. The Commission will analyze all refusals to support projects and check for conflicts of interest.
