The Russian Armed Forces hit the railway loading point of the 38th separate marine brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Nikolaev region of Ukraine, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.

“The coordinates of the target were promptly transmitted to the crew of the ground-based missile system, which carried out a high-precision strike,” the statement said. The defense department also emphasized that as a result of the strike, the loading point was destroyed.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin called its goals the protection of the residents of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia.
