At the time of the start of partial mobilization, 89% of conscripts had a permanent place of work.
On December 14, during the “Results of the Year”, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated, that now 244 thousand mobilized are directly in the Northeast Military District zone. 41 thousand mobilized have already been dismissed from the armed forces for health reasons or reaching the age limit, he specified. According to him, as part of the campaign to recruit volunteers, 486 thousand people were recruited over the year. A new wave of mobilization is not needed now, the head of state believes.
Partial mobilization took place in Russia in September and October 2022. There was no decree to complete the partial mobilization. Mr. Putin said a year ago that the conscription was completed; he promised to consult with lawyers about the need for an additional decree.
