Kyiv attempted to attack the Bryansk region for the fourth time overnight using an aircraft-type drone. About it reported Ministry of Defense.
The attack attempt was stopped at about 00:45 Moscow time, the drone was shot down by air defense systems over the territory of the Bryansk region.
Before this, Kyiv tried to strike the region three times in a few hours using drones. The first drone was destroyed by air defense around 22:00 Moscow time, then two more drones shot down around 00:10 Moscow time. The third attack was stopped at about 00:30 Moscow time.
According to the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, the drones were eliminated over the Unechsky, Brasovsky, Karachevsky, Bryansk districts and the Starodubsky municipal district. He emphasized that in all cases there was no destruction or casualties.
The Bryansk region is regularly attacked by Ukraine. The region has an indefinite high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, an average level of response has been established in the region.
