The Russian armed forces were able to repel four attacks of the Ukrainian army in the Zaporozhye direction. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov.
“In the Zaporizhia direction, units of the Russian group of troops … repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Verbove and Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region,” the lieutenant general said.
He added that the repulse of the attacks of the Ukrainian troops was carried out with the support of aviation, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems. In addition, the speaker of the Russian Defense Ministry noted that there were no changes in the tactical position of the Russian army.
According to the Defense Ministry, over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost up to 40 soldiers, one tank, two armored vehicles, two pickup trucks, two American M777 artillery systems, three Paladin self-propelled guns and other weapons in this direction.
