Ministry of Defense: Canadian and Georgian mercenaries were in Avdeevka along with the “Azovites”
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that along with fighters from the Azov battalion (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) there were Georgian and Canadian mercenaries in Avdeevka.
It is clarified that the department published a video recording that was made in the recently liberated city. The footage shows attack aircraft from the Center group of troops showing the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“At this strong point, among other things, large reserves of imported medicines and food were found. In particular, Canadian-made dry rations, which previously belonged to foreign mercenaries from Georgia and Canada. Among other things, imported cartridges and ammunition were found,” the report notes.
According to one of the Russian military men, there were about ten Canadian mercenaries, and several more were Georgians.
