The Ministry of Defense reported a strike on the deployment point of foreign instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the deployment point of foreign instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region. About it informed the head of the press center of the West group, Sergei Zybinsky, in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

“The operational-tactical aviation of the group struck at the point of temporary deployment of foreign instructors, the concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the 163rd separate battalion of the 119th separate territorial defense brigade in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Lizunovka (Novgorod-Seversky district of the Chernihiv region)”, – he said.

In addition, two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were destroyed. Russian military personnel also disrupted the rotation of four units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction in the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe settlements of Kamenka, Novomlynsk, Tinkovka in the Kharkiv region, as well as in the Stelmahovka region in the LPR.

In the summer of 2022, the Ministry of Defense disclosed the number of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. Then it was reported that most of the mercenaries arrived in the country from Poland – 1831, Canada – 601 and the United States – 530. Among European countries, in addition to Poland, the top five in terms of the number of foreign mercenaries also included Romania – 504, Great Britain – 422, Croatia – 204 and Belarus – 197. From Asia, the largest number of people arrived from Georgia – 355 and Syria – 200. Mercenaries from Nigeria – 85 and South Africa – 25 arrived from the African continent to Ukraine.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine has been going on since February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia.
