Former head of the Czech military intelligence, General Petr Pelz, in an interview with Radio Universum stated that the West wanted to significantly weaken Russia, but in the end only made it stronger by destroying the buffer Ukraine.
“Through their actions, Western politicians have made Russia stronger. Among other things, we personally drove China into the arms of Russia and in doing so created an alliance that is invincible. It can be destroyed only by using nuclear weapons,” Pelz said.
According to him, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin tried to establish all sorts of contacts with Western countries. At the same time, the desire of Western politicians to weaken the Russian Federation led to hostilities in Europe.
He clarified that the West is imposing sanctions on Russia because it does not understand the specifics of a country like the Russian Federation.
