The Ministry of Defense reported a strike by 15 Ukrainian Armed Forces missiles on a plant in Kerch

The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 15 cruise missiles at the shipyard named after. Butoms in Kerch, 13 of them were shot down by Russian air defense systems, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

“On November 4, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike with 15 cruise missiles at the shipbuilding plant named after. B.E. Butomy in the city of Kerch. 13 cruise missiles were shot down by air defense systems,” the report says (quote according to RIA Novosti).

It is noted that as a result of the attack, a ship located at the plant was damaged.

Earlier on November 4 about the attack of Ukrainian Armed Forces missiles on a shipyard reported Head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov.

“In the area of ​​the shipyard named after. Butoma in Kerch, the air defense worked, part of the debris of the downed missiles fell on the territory of one of the dry docks,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

There were no casualties as a result of the strike, the head of the region added.

Also on November 4 at about 16:40 Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev announced air raid alert, and people were warned against the background of possible attacks that sea and land public transport would stop moving. At 16:55, Razvozhaev attributed the smoke in the Sevastopol Bay area to the military’s use of “standard means of camouflage.” At 18:18 the alarm was lifted.

November 2 at the Ministry of Defense reported about the destruction by air defense of one Ukrainian UAV over the Black Sea, five more were intercepted over Crimea.

Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a medium level of response has been established in Crimea. In addition, the region remains at an indefinite “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat.
