On the night of September 21, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike on Ukrainian military industry facilities and radio intelligence centers, reported The Russian Ministry of Defense in its daily report.

“Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike with high-precision long-range air-launched weapons and attack unmanned aerial vehicles on military industrial facilities, as well as radio intelligence centers and training centers for sabotage groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the message says.

All targeted targets were hit, the defense department emphasized.

The report also reports that in the Zaporizhzhya direction, Russian forces repelled two attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the areas of the settlements of Novopokrovka and Rabotino; in the Donetsk direction, five attacks were repelled in the areas of the villages of Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Kurdyumovka, Kleshcheevka, Veseloe, Khimik in the DPR. In the Krasnoliman direction, three attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces assault groups were repelled.

In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted fire on units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Prechistovka area, and in the Kherson direction, an enemy sabotage group was destroyed on Pereyaslavsky Island.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the fighting, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

Since the beginning of June, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been conducting active offensive operations. Russian President Vladimir Putin previously called the offensive “not a slippage, but a failure.” During the plenary session of the EEF, he said that Ukraine has no results, while the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the counter-offensive have already amounted to 71,500 people. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with CNN stated September 20, that he does not know whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to achieve significant success during the counteroffensive before the end of the year.
