The Ministry of Defense proposed to form electronic personal files of conscripts based on data from state resources

The Ministry of Defense has developed changes in the provision on conscription for military service as part of the digitalization of military records in Russia. According to the project, military registration and enlistment offices will form electronic personal files of conscripts using state information resources.
The document defines the list of information that military registration and enlistment offices receive in electronic form. Among the state resources that the military registration and enlistment offices will use are the systems of the Gosuslug portal, healthcare and interdepartmental electronic interaction. The draft resolution also defines a new procedure for notifying conscripts about their appearance at events related to conscription for military service – by summons sent by registered mail, as well as in electronic form.
According to the law on the digitalization of military records, in Russia introduced a new way of sending subpoenas – by registered mail or through the State Services portal, while the traditional methods of notification – through paper subpoenas and the employer remain.
“Summons in electronic form are sent to the personal accounts of citizens on the Portals of state and municipal services (functions). The formation and distribution of these agendas is carried out by military commissariats in an automated mode, taking into account the work schedules of draft commissions through the Military Registration Register, which is maintained in accordance with the Regulations on Military Registration, ”the draft of the Ministry of Defense says. The execution of this document does not require additional costs covered by the federal budget, the military department notes.
