The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced strikes on the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian Defense Ministry has published another report on the progress of the special operation in Ukraine. In department reportedthat the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continued to attempt an offensive in certain areas of the Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih direction, but the Russian military attacked the reserves of the APU.

“The Russian Aerospace Forces, missile troops and artillery are delivering precision strikes against units and reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.

It is specified that the equipment and the military were hit in the areas of the settlements of Visunsk, Yavkino, Bereznegovatoe (Nikolaev region) and Chervonopolye (Kirovograd region). The Ministry of Defense also announced the destruction of a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition in the Nikolaev region.

In addition, Kalibr long-range missiles hit a fuel storage destined for Ukrainian troops in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction. Also, in the Zaytsevo region of the DPR, the military flees from their combat positions.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, 290 aircraft, 1,889 unmanned aerial vehicles, 4,845 tanks and other military equipment have been destroyed.

Russian special operations in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the denazification, demilitarization of Ukraine and the liberation of the LPR and DPR its goals.

On July 3, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the release of the LPR. Now, according to him, the DPR is being released as planned. In early August, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the allied forces managed to liberate about half of the entire territory of the DPR.

In May, the Kherson region was completely liberated. Most of the Zaporozhye region is also under the control of the Russian military. New administrations were formed in both areas. Part of the Kharkiv region is also controlled by Russia.

Since the end of August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have attempted a counteroffensive in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions in three directions. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the information and stated that Russian troops repelled the attack. According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 1,200 Ukrainian servicemen were killed as a result.

On August 31, the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern direction continued, a new attempt again ended in failure, the Russian department reported. It was clarified that the enemy suffered significant losses. On September 1, Ukraine made several more attempts to advance in the Kharkiv and Nikolo-Krivoy Rog directions. They were also unsuccessful, said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.
