The armed forces of the Russian Federation dealt a massive blow to the military command and control system, objects of the military-industrial and fuel-energy complexes of Ukraine on December 5, said the representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.
“As a result of the strike, the production and repair of Ukrainian weapons at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex was stopped, the railway transportation of military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including foreign production, was disrupted. The transfer of reserves to the areas of hostilities is difficult, ”he said (cit. according to RIA Novosti).
All assigned targets were reached and hit. Konashenkov also stressed that the RF Armed Forces did not strike targets in Kyiv.
On October 10, the Russian military began to strike at Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an operational meeting with members of the Security Council on October 10, said that such a decision was made in response to Ukrainian attempts at terrorist attacks on Russian territory, including an explosion on the Crimean bridge. He emphasized that the reaction to such actions would be tough.
