The Ministry of Defense is allowed not to report on the management of state property during the SVO

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed order, according to which the Ministry of Defense may not disclose information about the effectiveness of state property management during the period of a special operation on the territory of Ukraine. The document was published on the legal information website on December 8. TASS drew attention to the publication.
According to the government order, the Ministry of Defense will not report on the disposal of state property in the state automated information system (GAS) “Management”. The department will also not send the results of this reporting to the Ministry of Finance.
Thus, for the specified period, the obligations specified in paragraphs 2 and 7 of the government order are removed from the department orders dated October 12, 2020 No. 2645-r, adopted in order to improve the efficiency of management and disposal of state property.
The document states that the Ministry of Economic Development must, within a month, send to the Treasury the requirements for the State Automated System “Management” in accordance with the changes indicated above. What exactly should be included in these requirements is not specified. The Treasury was instructed to “ensure the technical readiness” of the State Automated System “Management” within 30 working days from the date of receipt of the requirements.
