The Ministry of Defense instructed to create groups in the army to fight Western tanks in Ukraine

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov ordered the creation of special groups that will fight Western tanks delivered to Ukraine. To accomplish this task, special methodological recommendations have been developed for military specialists, said Evgeny Arifulin, head of the combat training center of the RF Armed Forces, on the air of the TV channel “Star”.
“According to him (Mr. Yevkurov.— ”b”) with instructions from the head of the main department of combat training, Colonel-General Buvaltsev and his team developed methodological recommendations and organized a methodology for implementation. And the Combat Training Center conducts and implements these activities,” said Mr. Arifulin.
By the end of March, the first batches of Western tanks began to arrive at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the German Ministry of Defense reported on the arrival of 18 German Leopard 2s in the country. Three of the same vehicles came from Portugal. Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov declaredthat the Leopard tanks will be used by the Ukrainian army during the counteroffensive and will appear on the battlefield in April-May.
