Over the past 24 hours, the Russian armed forces have destroyed 11 tanks during a special military operation, including three Western Leopards, a British Stormer SAM combat vehicle, as well as a US-made M777 artillery system, reported press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy continued “unsuccessful attempts” of offensive operations in the South-Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions, the report says. In particular, in the districts of the Zaporozhye region, the RF Armed Forces repelled three attacks, and also hit a Ukrainian column of armored vehicles advancing south. Eight more attacks were repulsed by the Yuzhnaya group of troops in the directions of Novobakhmutovka, Krasnogorovka, Pervomaisky and Maryinka.
In addition, a sabotage and reconnaissance group was destroyed in the village of Novomlynsk, Kharkiv region, Ukraine lost two pickup trucks and Polish Krab self-propelled artillery mounts.
Air defense systems in the Kherson region shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, and also managed to intercept five rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and a HARM missile in a day, the Ministry of Defense said.
