The Russian Defense Ministry has stopped the implementation of US military biological programs on the territory of Ukraine, said the head of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the RF Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. briefing.

“The active actions of the Russian Ministry of Defense managed to stop the implementation of military biological programs on the territory of Ukraine. In this regard, the Pentagon is actively transferring research that has not been completed within the framework of Ukrainian projects to the states of Central Asia and Eastern Europe,” he said.

At the same time, the United States is increasing cooperation with the countries of Africa and the Asia-Pacific region – Kenya, Singapore, and Thailand.

In addition, the United States moved its military biological equipment from Ukraine to the Baltic countries and Poland. In 2022, the United States, the EU and Canada initiated programs for the employment and relocation to Western countries of Ukrainian specialists who previously took part in military biological activities, Kirillov added.

On the territory of Ukraine, he noted, experiments were conducted, including with HIV infection (since 2019), and not only on patients with a high risk of infection – convicts or drug addicts, but also on the country’s military personnel. In the Pharmbiotest medical center on the territory of the LPR, the Russian side found evidence of tests conducted there of drugs with serious side effects: drugs for leukemia, mental disorders, neurological diseases, epilepsy, etc. drugs.

At the end of November 2022, the Ministry of Defense reported that biological weapons components were being developed near the Russian border in Ukraine. This follows from the documents found in Ukrainian biological laboratories. Kirillov noted that the nomenclature of the studied pathogens “is in no way connected with the problems that are relevant to the health care of Ukraine”, and the emphasis was on studies of natural focal and especially dangerous infections, which are considered as potential agents of biological weapons.

At the end of March, the Ministry of Defense published a list of persons who took part in the creation of biological weapons components on the territory of Ukraine. As Kirillov reported, one of the key figures is Robert Pope, an employee of the US Department of Defense’s Defense Threat Reduction Administration (DTRA) and director of the Cooperative Threat Reduction Program (also known as the Nunn-Lugar program).
