“Currently, preparations are underway for the transfer of heavy equipment of PMC Wagner to units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the defense ministry said.
Earlier, the head of the PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, himself announced such plans. According to him, Wagner planned to hand over the equipment in early July as a sign of protest because of the order of the Ministry of Defense obliging all volunteers to sign contracts with the department.
