The Ministry of Defense announced the return of 94 soldiers from Ukrainian captivity

As a result of the negotiation process, Russia returned 94 servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces from Ukrainian captivity, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported.
“As a result of the negotiation process, 94 Russian servicemen were returned from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime, who were in mortal danger in captivity,” reported “RIA Novosti” with reference to the department.
The defense ministry clarified that the Russian military will be taken to medical facilities for treatment and rehabilitation.
Earlier in June Russia handed over Hungary, a group of Ukrainian soldiers from Transcarpathia, who took part in the hostilities and were captured. The exchange took place with the participation of the Russian Orthodox Church, the press service of the Russian Orthodox Church reported.
On May 25, Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova reported that PMC Wagner had exchanged prisoners with Ukraine. On May 6, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the return of three pilots of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) from captivity. Prior to this, exchanges of prisoners with the Ukrainian side were carried out repeatedly. In particular, on April 26, the Ministry of Defense spoke about the return of 40 servicemen, and on April 10 it became known that 106 Russian servicemen returned as a result of an exchange with Ukraine.
