Over the past 24 hours, the Russian military repulsed four attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Rabotino area in the Zaporozhye region. About it informs Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“In the Zaporizhia direction, skillful actions of units of the Russian group of forces, air strikes and artillery fire repelled four attacks by assault groups of the 65th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region,” the report says.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation improved their tactical position during the offensive. In the Donetsk direction, the Russian military repelled three attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and two in the Krasnoliman direction. The activities of two groups of Ukrainian saboteurs in the Rovnopol region of the DPR were suppressed in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction.
The village of Rabotino is under the control of Russian forces. Earlier today Rogov informed about fierce battles in the Vremevsky and Orekhovsky directions in the Zaporozhye region. In particular, he noted on August 22, heavy fighting is going on in Rabotino. According to him, Russian troops drove the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the center of the village, the enemy is on the northern outskirts of the village.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting offensive operations since the beginning of June this year. The Kremlin has repeatedly stated about the lack of success of the Ukrainian army and pointed to the heavy losses of the enemy.
