The Ministry of Defense announced the first interception of a GLSDB guided missile

Russian air defense (AD) systems intercepted a GLSDB guided missile for the first time. About it informs Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“Air defense systems intercepted eighteen HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and one GLSDB guided missile during the day,” the March 28 report says.
In addition, in the Kherson region, Russian troops destroyed the guidance radar of the Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Also, a total of 12 enemy drones were shot down during the day.
The Ministry of Defense noted the active actions of the Russian military in two directions. In the Krasnolimansky direction, the enemy lost up to 125 soldiers, and in Donetsk – up to 240. In the Kupyansky direction, up to 65 Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed, and in Kherson – up to 18. In Zaporozhye and Yuzhnodonetsky, in total, the enemy’s losses amounted to 20 military personnel.
The day before, March 27, the Ministry of Defense reported about the destruction of up to 400 Ukrainian military in the Donetsk direction. In other directions, the Russian Armed Forces continued to carry out artillery and air strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of hostilities, the Russian Armed Forces (AF) have destroyed 404 aircraft and 226 helicopters. More than 3,600 drones were also shot down, more than 8,400 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles were destroyed, and more than 4,400 field artillery pieces and mortars were destroyed.
