The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of six DRGs in the Kharkiv region

Russian troops destroyed six sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region, reported on Sunday, the press service of the RF Ministry of Defense.

In addition, over the past 24 hours, in the Kupyansky direction, artillery fire from the “Western” group of troops hit enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Novoselovskoye LPR, Masyutovka and Kislovka in the Kharkov region.

“Six sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Pershotravneve, Tabaevka, Sinkovka, Yagodnoe and Krakhmalnoe of the Kharkiv region. The total losses of the enemy per day in this direction amounted to 60 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and two vehicles,” the daily report of the defense department says.

Air defense systems, according to the Ministry of Defense, shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter near the village of Golubovka, Kharkiv region. During the day, it was also possible to destroy seven drones in the Kherson region and the LPR.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
