The Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) have lost more than 800 people over the past day, reported in the report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“As a result of the strikes, the daily losses of Ukrainian servicemen and foreign fighters exceeded 800 people killed and wounded,” the report says.
The defense ministry explained that the Russian Aerospace Forces are inflicting massive strikes on Ukrainian units in all directions. Thus, strikes were carried out on the points of temporary deployment of units of the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Slavyansk and Konstantinovka, the 115th Mechanized Brigade in the Artyomovsk area, the 53rd Mechanized Brigade in the Kurdyumovka area, etc.
During the day, twenty command posts of Ukrainian troops were hit, five ammunition depots were destroyed, six drones and one Mi-8 helicopter were shot down.
September 10 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the withdrawal of Russian forces from the cities of Izyum and Balakleya in the Kharkiv region for transfer to the territory of the DPR in order to increase the efforts of the Russian side in the Donetsk direction. On the eve of the CAA of the Kharkov region, they explained that in the Kharkov direction the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeded the Russian troops by eight times. According to the head of the pro-Russian administration of the region Vitaly Ganchev, the Russian military was withdrawn to save personnel.
Despite the withdrawal of Russian troops to the territory of the DPR, the Russian authorities stated that all the goals of the special operation would be achieved. First, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev emphasized this, then – Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev. In the Kremlin today declaredthat there are no plans to announce mobilization in the country at the moment.
