The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the areas of Konstantinovka and Ivano-Daryevka of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian military destroyed field ammunition depots of Ukrainian units, reported press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Another ammunition depot was destroyed in the Ochakov region of the Nikolaev region, the report says.

According to the defense department, over the past day, the RF Armed Forces have also repelled attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in different directions. In particular, eight attacks were repulsed in the Zaporozhye region, the enemy lost two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, two Stryker armored personnel carriers, a Polish Krab artillery mount and a US-made M777 system, as well as British and American howitzers.

In the areas of the DPR, with the support of assault and army aviation, six attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled, the same number of attacks, according to the Ministry of Defense, were repelled in the Kupyansk direction in the Kharkiv region and the LPR.

In addition, in the areas of the Zaporozhye region and the Harvest DPR, the Russian military stopped the work of four Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Over the past 24 hours, air defense intercepted three HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and shot down a HARM missile.

On August 19, the Ministry of Defense spoke about repelling attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the LPR, DPR, Kharkiv and Zaporozhye regions, as well as about the attempt of the Ukrainian military to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper. Then about 150 people tried to cross the river and gain a foothold on its left bank, the Russian military let them go ashore and aimed artillery at the boats. The crossing attempt was aborted.
