Over the past day, the Russian armed forces hit a number of objects used to supply Ukrainian troops in the zone of the special operation, says in the next report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
So, in the city of Zaporozhye, a fuel base for military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit, and in the Mikhailovka region in the DPR, a warehouse for storing rockets for American MLRS HIMARS was hit. In addition, an ammunition depot of the 110th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near Avdiivka in the same region.
In the areas of Novolyubovka in the LPR and Serebryanka in the DPR, three ammunition depots of the 66th mechanized and 81st airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit. A similar warehouse of the 65th mechanized brigade of the enemy was destroyed in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlement of Orekhov, Zaporozhye region.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have made unsuccessful attempts to attack in three directions, the Ministry of Defense noted. There were nine such attacks in the Donetsk direction at once, all of them were repulsed, the Ukrainian side lost three tanks and six armored fighting vehicles during the fighting.
In addition, the actions of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups near the villages of Torskoye and Urozhaynoye in the DPR, Dorozhnyanka in the Zaporozhye region were suppressed during the day. In the areas of the settlements of Marfopol and Rabotino of the Zaporozhye region, two reconnaissance in force by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reflected.
In its report dated July 7, the Ministry of Defense reported on the repulse of attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack in the Donetsk, Krasnoliman and South Donetsk directions. Earlier today, the Ministry of Defense reported that the head of the department, Sergei Shoigu, checked the training of military contractors of newly formed units and formations at the training grounds of the Southern Military District.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of the Russian Federation.
