The Ministry of Defense announced the completion of the call for partial mobilization

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that all activities within the framework of partial mobilization related to the conscription of citizens for military service have been completed. Delivery of subpoenas stops, collection points begin to function as before. Further work of the military registration and enlistment offices for recruiting into the ranks of the armed forces will be organized by accepting volunteers and candidates for military contract service. There is no presidential decree on the completion of partial mobilization yet.

On behalf of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the General Staff sent instructions to the commanders of the military districts and the Northern Fleet to report by November 1 on the completion of partial mobilization measures. All personnel involved in the partial mobilization of the military commissariats are ordered to return to their duties in the regular mode.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin on the completion of partial mobilization on 28 October. According to Mr. Shoigu, the “set task” to call up 300,000 people has been fulfilled. Of these, 218 thousand are being trained at the training ground, and 82 thousand have already been sent to the active troops.

Earlier today, October 31, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov declaredthat the Kremlin will report when Vladimir Putin’s decree on the completion of mobilization appears. Despite the announcement by the Ministry of Defense, the relevant presidential decree has not yet been made public.
