The Ministry of Defense announced the capture of Belogorovka and Pershe Travnya in the DPR

The Russian military took control of the points of Belogorovka and Pershe Travnya in the Donetsk direction, declared the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

According to him, up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored combat vehicles, three self-propelled artillery mounts and six vehicles were destroyed. In addition, attempts at counterattacks by the Ukrainian military in the Yuzhnodonets direction were repelled.

Near Dnepropetrovsk, Russian troops also destroyed a large warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “Khortytsya”, where rockets of HIMARS, MLRS, “Uragan” multiple launch rocket systems and loitering ammunition were stored.

November 28, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin informedthat Russian troops are close to the operational encirclement of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), the next day at the headquarters of the DPR’s territorial defense declared about taking control of the settlements of Pershe Travnya and Andreevka.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
