The Ministry of Defense announced missile strikes on the points of deployment of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On the night of April 28, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a missile attack on the points of deployment of the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). As a result, the advance of the enemy into the combat areas was stopped. This is reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“The target has been reached. All assigned objects are hit. The advancing of enemy reserves to the areas of combat operations was stopped, – says in another summary.

The missile forces also hit the Ukrainian joint headquarters in Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) and units of the “Foreign Legion” in the Konstantinovka region of the DPR. In addition, assault detachments continued to destroy units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries in Artemovsk. The Airborne Forces and the “Southern” group of Russian troops are thwarting enemy attempts to transfer additional reserves to the city, the Defense Ministry noted.

In addition, in the Drobyshevo region of the DPR, a Russian fighter shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter.

The day before, on April 27, the Ministry of Defense also reported on strikes against enemy reserves. According to the department, the goal was achieved, the nomination of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was stopped. On the same day, the Russian military in the DPR shot down a Su-24 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia. Martial law has been introduced in the regions since October 19.

Since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 413 aircraft, 228 helicopters and almost 3,900 enemy drones.
