The Russian Armed Forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine’s infrastructure facilities on November 23, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said.

“On November 23, the Armed Forces dealt a massive blow to the military command and control system of Ukraine and related energy facilities. As a result of the strike, the transfer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reserves, foreign weapons, military equipment and ammunition to the combat areas by rail was disrupted, ”he said (cit. according to RIA Novosti).

Konashenkov also noted that on the eve of Russia did not inflict a single blow on the territory of Kyiv. All the destruction reported by the Ukrainian authorities and local media is related to the fall of foreign and Ukrainian air defense missiles deployed in residential areas of Kyiv.

On October 10, the Russian military began to strike at Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an operational meeting with members of the Security Council on October 10, said that such a decision was made in response to Ukrainian attempts at terrorist attacks on Russian territory, including an explosion on the Crimean bridge. He emphasized that the reaction to such actions would be tough.
