The Ministry of Defense announced contracts with seven more volunteer units

Three brigades and four detachments of the volunteer corps signed contracts with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation that determine the activities of these units in the special operation zone. About it informs press service of the military department in the Telegram channel.

“Today, 3 brigades and 4 separate detachments from the volunteer assault corps signed contracts to perform tasks in the interests of the defense of the Russian Federation in the zone of a special military operation,” the press service of the representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev, quotes.

The documents were signed by Alekseev and seven commanders of detachments and brigades of the volunteer corps.

The lieutenant general also expressed confidence that in the coming weeks such a contract would be signed by all formations and other formations of the volunteer corps. According to him, the volunteer formations are “perfectly equipped, well trained and, most importantly, ideologically motivated.”

June 10th became knownthat Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed an order according to which volunteer detachments must sign contracts with the Ministry of Defense by July 1. This will give them “the necessary legal status, create common approaches to the organization of comprehensive support and the fulfillment of their tasks,” the department explained. June 12 Ministry of Defense signed contract with the volunteer detachment “Akhmat”.
