Edition business insiderciting Michael Clark, professor of military studies at King’s College London, reported that one of the key problems in the Ukrainian army is the lack of modern aviation and the dominance of Russian artillery.

He specified that the key problem for the offensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the artillery of the Russian Armed Forces. At the moment, Russian artillery dominates the battlefield.

“Representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will feel a lack of aviation, since the fighters promised by the Western countries have not yet arrived in Kyiv,” Clark said.

According to him, another problem is the lack of air defense systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which could cover ground units on the front line.
