The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) launched UAV strikes on fuel storage facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the port of Reni in the Odessa region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in its daily report.
“At night, the Russian Aerospace Forces inflicted a group attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on fuel storage facilities used to supply military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the port of Reni in the Odessa region. The target has been reached. All designated objects were hit,” the message says.
The Russian army also destroyed the UAV drone control center in the Chervona Dibrova area in the Luhansk region. During the day, the air defense system (air defense) shot down 34 Ukrainian UAVs, as well as a JDAM bomb and a HIMARS MLRS projectile.
In the Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces repelled four attacks by the Ukrainian army, in particular near Kleshcheevka and Artemovsk (the Ukrainian name is Bakhmut). Three Ukrainian attacks were repelled in the Rabotino and Verbore districts of the Zaporozhye region – the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 130 people. A MiG-29 fighter jet was also shot down in Zaporozhye and three field depots of ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
Near Sergeevka, Luhansk region, three Ukrainian attacks were also repelled. Two attacks were repulsed in the Krasnoliman direction.
The day before the Ministry of Defense reported on the repulsion of four attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction. In addition, five attacks by the Ukrainian army were carried out in the Donetsk region, all of which were repelled.
On September 1, the ministry reported that in a week the Russian Armed Forces launched five group strikes on targets in Ukraine, including command posts, port infrastructure facilities and airfields. As a result of the strikes, air defense systems, armored vehicles, production facilities where unmanned boats were assembled, etc. were destroyed.
