Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft destroyed a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter in the Bekarovka area in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov.
“Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a MiG-29 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force near the village of Bekarovka, Zaporozhye region,” the lieutenant general said during a briefing.
In addition, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems managed to intercept five HIMARS MLRS shells, as well as an American JDAM aerial bomb. In addition, over the past 24 hours, 34 Ukrainian drones have been destroyed in the special operation zone.
Since the beginning of the Russian special operation, Russian troops have destroyed 467 planes and 247 helicopters.
