The Ministry of Defense announced a strike on the location of a foreign unit

Near the city of Artemovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Russian rocket troops and artillery hit the temporary deployment point of a foreign unit, reported in the daily report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The ministry also reported the defeat of 8 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU), manpower and military equipment in 86 districts per day. In the Kharkiv region, in the area of the settlements of Kislovka, Tabaevka and Beresovoe, strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit.
Two reconnaissance groups were destroyed near the village of Chervonaya Dibrova in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
Near Makiivka (LPR), two Grad multiple launch rocket launchers were destroyed, near Seversk in the DPR, two Ukrainian combat vehicles of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system and a Polish Crab self-propelled artillery installation were destroyed. Three American M777 artillery systems were destroyed near Dobrovolye, Kharkiv region, and Pleshcheevka, DPR.
During the day, air defense systems shot down five drones, intercepted six HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and one Uragan rocket.
Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov said earlier that the main efforts of the Russian troops are currently focused on the complete liberation of the DPR. He added that Russian troops continue to strike at Ukraine’s critical transport and energy infrastructure, as well as ammunition depots and military equipment.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
