The Ministry of Defense again announced the destruction of a drone in the Belgorod region

Another Ukrainian drone was destroyed on Saturday, September 2, over the Belgorod region, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

“September 2, at about 15.00 Moscow time, another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” – told in the defense department.

The Ministry of Defense for the third time in a day reports an attempt by a Ukrainian drone to attack Russian facilities in the Belgorod region. So, two drones were intercepted over the territory of the region in the morning, another attempt stopped around 12.45 Moscow time.

The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also reported earlier today that a drone was shot down as a result of the operation of an air defense system (air defense). According to him, the drone was shot down in Grayvoron city district. According to preliminary data from the authorities, no one was injured when the fragments fell, but windows were slightly damaged in one private house in the village of Golovchino.

Another drone failed to shoot down – by data Gladkov, a Ukrainian drone twice dropped explosive devices on the village of Dolgoye, Valuysky urban district. As a result of the attack, no one was injured, but the blast wave broke the glass in one house, and the facade was cut. In addition, one passenger car was damaged, and an infrastructure communications facility was damaged.

However, during the shelling of the village of Urazovo in the region, a man was killed, two more people were injured and are in serious condition, Gladkov reported.

A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region.
