The Ministry of Construction will reduce state supervision in construction for new regions – Kommersant

The Ministry of Construction, as an experiment in the territory of new regions, will delegate the functions of State Construction Supervision inspectors to third-party specialists. This was announced by the director of the department of urban planning and architecture of the Ministry of Construction, Vladimir Kalinkin.

“In accordance with the strategy of the construction industry, we began an experiment in four regions that recently joined the Russian Federation. Construction control there will be carried out by specialists certified by Rostechnadzor,” Vladimir Kalinkin told TASS on the sidelines of the international construction forum and exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild.

In this regard, he said, the presence of Gosstroynadzor inspectors at construction sites will be reduced in the annexed regions. Gosstroynadzor will begin to leave the four regions “in full” at the beginning of next year. State supervision will be involved only in case of complaints or emergency situations.

At the end of September, the head of the Ministry of Construction, Irek Fayzullin admittedthat some cities destroyed as a result of battles in regions annexed to Russia will not be restored. In this context, he mentioned Popasnaya in the north of the LPR, from which, according to him, “nothing remains.” However, after this the press service of the Ministry of Construction statedthat all objects in these territories that require and are subject to restoration will be included in the plan.
