In accordance with the documents, living space in excess of the standards must be provided in the form of a separate room. In the absence of such an opportunity, beneficiaries should be allocated an apartment with an area of 10 square meters more than the rest, and scientists, writers and composers – no less than 20 square meters. more meters.
The authors of the document note that, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, many of the above categories of citizens today have the right to additional space. In particular, benefits are provided to disabled people in accordance with the law “On Social Protection of Disabled Persons in the Russian Federation”, and to military personnel – with the law “On the Status of Military Personnel”. Therefore, it is proposed to recognize the decisions of almost a hundred years ago as invalid. The draft document has been submitted for public discussion on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
