The Ministry of Construction intends to form a personnel reserve of specialists in the construction industry

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Russia plans to form a personnel reserve of qualified managers in the construction industry, said Alexei Tikhomirov, director of the department for licensing activities and interagency cooperation of the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

“It is necessary to start forming a personnel reserve of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Qualified managers are very much needed. Not only those who can correctly and competently complete the task, but also those who can figure out how to optimize this task and solve it easier and at the lowest cost,” Mr. Tikhomirov said during the plenary session “Prospects for the development of construction” in Novosibirsk ( quote by TASS).

The director of the department specified that the Ministry of Construction plans to develop a concept for creating a reserve. According to him, the agency will regard the reserve primarily as a pool of experts. In addition, Mr. Tikhomirov noted, a very large need for personnel is observed in the subjects annexed to the Russian Federation. The third aspect, which should form the basis of the concept, is the possibility of obtaining internships and master classes.

Alexei Tikhomirov noted that the Ministry of Construction already has the technical ability to create a personnel reserve thanks to the unified digital platform of the personnel center.

According to a study by the HH.ru service, the number of vacancies in the construction industry in Russia has grown by 23% in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. Average salaries have changed from 57-126 thousand rubles. up to 60-138 thousand. Most of all, Russian companies need design engineers and designers (7.8% of vacancies in the industry), PTO engineers (6.9%), machinists (5.7%), drivers and foremen (5.5 %).
