The Minister of Sports of the Moscow Region and the President of the International Boxing Association discussed the development of sports in Serpukhov

The development of mass sports in Serpukhov and the modernization of the sports infrastructure of the district were discussed at a meeting organized on the initiative of the Minister of Sports of the Moscow Region Dmitry Abarenov and the President of the International Boxing Association Umar Kremlev, with the head of the municipality Sergey Nikitenko.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of federations, heads of sports schools and clubs. It was a great opportunity to discuss the current situation and make plans for the future.

Serpukhov is a city that is sincerely passionate about sports. Representatives of almost all sports live here – from martial arts to motorcycle racing. More than 20 sports federations and associations and eight municipal sports institutions operate on the territory of the district. This means that behind each of them there are hundreds and thousands of residents who are actively involved in and achieve success in regional, all-Russian and even international competitions.

However, with the growing popularity of sports, new demands and needs also arise.

The development of mass sports and the modernization of sports infrastructure are of great importance. This will not only create new opportunities for sports, but also promote health and improve the quality of life.

Every resident of Serpukhov should have access to sports facilities and be able to practice their chosen sport.

At the meeting, specific steps and tasks that need to be completed to achieve the goals set were outlined. Sport is not only physical activity, but also a means of self-affirmation, spiritual and physical development.

There will be renovation of existing sports facilities, as well as construction of new ones. Attention will be paid to the support and development of sports schools and clubs in order to provide quality training for athletes and attract new people to a healthy lifestyle.

Inventory, repair of infrastructure facilities, involvement of coaches, instructors, judges – all these aspects will be taken into account by the organizing committee, which will develop a roadmap for their implementation.

In order to simplify the interaction and effectively resolve such issues, it was decided to create a permanent working body – the sports organizing committee.

In August, it is planned to hold a citywide boxing and martial arts championship, which will include both beginners and professionals.

And already on July 29, a boxing race will take place, where everyone can compete for prizes. This is just one of many major sporting events to be held in the county.

The motocross cup on Russky Island and the race of heroes at the Krasnye Krylyi sports complex – the demand for such events is great, and it is important to satisfy the needs of all lovers of an active healthy lifestyle.
