– Topical questions were raised on the development of biathlon in Lesosibirsk – on the delivery of athletes to the place of training and coaching rates. I will answer right away that most of them are solved by opening a biathlon department in the municipality – this issue was discussed with the head of the city Andrey Khokhryakov and the leaders of the sports school and the Biathlon Academy. We agreed on how the local administration would help, rather than the school and the Academy with the Ministry of Sports. We will consolidate the agreements with a visit by the same train directly to Lesosibirsk. I believe that there are basic conditions for the development of these sports in the territory. The above requirement will be submitted to the 2024 budget.
Regarding the ice palace in Zelenogorsk – the issue is under control, the deadlines for the completion of construction have been approved. As of May 25, the readiness of the facility was more than 70%: the contour of the building was closed, communications were laid, electricity and heat were connected, the foundation for the ice arena was ready. It will take two years to complete the installation of the sewerage system, to carry out a fine finish of the premises, to purchase equipment, furniture, and appliances. In total, the cost of this will amount to more than 170 million rubles.
– By tradition, a question was received from football fans. Regarding FC Yenisei, Mikhail Mikhailovich Kotyukov announced that we plan to develop football further. The results of the season, as well as goals and objectives will be summed up in the near future, – Petrovsky commented. – I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team for the 2022/23 season. It was very difficult, and the dedication of the guys was high.
The Minister of Sports expressed special gratitude to the captain of Yenisei, who this year has continuous anniversaries – 300 matches and 10 years for the Krasnoyarsk football club
