The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, checked the work of local defense enterprises in Udmurtia, the department’s press service reports.
It is noted that Shoigu assessed the implementation of the state defense order for the production of reconnaissance and attack drones. The Minister of Defense is in the region as part of a working trip to the troops of the Central Military District.
“The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation… checked the implementation of the state defense order for the production of reconnaissance and attack unmanned aerial vehicles by enterprises of the military-industrial complex in Udmurtia,” the press service said.
It is reported that in Udmurtia there are enterprises of the military-industrial complex that are part of the Kalashnikov concern.
