19 The military prosecutor’s office demands to block the websites of the UN and the Turkish agency Anadolu. The corresponding lawsuit was filed with the Leninsky District Court of the Vladimir Region
“The lawsuit contains demands to prohibit access to the sites https://news.un.org and https://www.aa.com.tr. The plaintiff is the 19th Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Army,” TASS was told in court.
The person concerned in the lawsuit is the Roskomnadzor department for the Vladimir region. The complaint did not state the substance of the complaint. The meeting is scheduled for January 27th.
Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, Russia has massively blocked media sites, including foreign ones. The reason is allegedly false information about the course of hostilities.
