The military commissar explained the refusal to publish the list of the wounded in Makiivka by the threat of foreign intelligence

Information about the wounded during the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Makeyevka will not be published, since this is personal data, and also because of the threat to the work of foreign intelligence, declared military commissar of the Samara region Alexei Vdovin.

“Lists will not be published. Firstly, this is personal data, and secondly, this, of course, is work for foreign intelligence services, to identify and conduct information activities in relation to relatives of military personnel, which is strictly prohibited, ”his words are quoted in the Telegram channel of the regional administration.

All information available to the military registration and enlistment offices is brought to the family members of the serviceman personally, Vdovin added.

As a result of the Ukrainian strike on the night of January 1 at Makiivka, according to the Ministry of Defense, 89 Russian servicemen were killed. They also reported that the main reason for the tragedy was the inclusion and massive use, contrary to the ban, by personnel of mobile phones, which allowed the enemy to track and determine the coordinates of the military personnel for a missile attack.

Earlier, the governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov, in a conversation with Sova.info, said that among the dead there were those mobilized from the region. Azarov also informedthat the relatives of the victims will be provided with comprehensive assistance. On January 3, mourning events were held in the Samara region in memory of those killed in the special operation.

How many people were injured in Makeevka was not reported, but on January 6 from Rostov-on-Don for treatment in the Samara region was delivered the first group of 45 wounded soldiers. This was announced by the administration of Azarov. In total, it was planned to transfer 60-70 people, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the press service of the regional government.
