The Russian military began using the modernized Krasnopol guided missile with increased accuracy in the military operation zone in Ukraine. This was announced by the High-Precision Complexes holding (part of Rostec).
“An improved version of the Krasnopol guided artillery projectile is successfully used during a special operation and, subject to the conditions of use, invariably hits the target,” the company told RIA Novosti.
High-precision adjustable artillery complex “Krasnopol-M” with a caliber of 155 mm – a modification of the “Krasnopol”. The projectile can capture up to three targets simultaneously.
In August, Instrument Design Bureau (part of the “High-Precision Complexes”) reported, which modernized the Krasnopol artillery shell. It was specified that its characteristics had been improved, but they were not disclosed for security reasons.
