In Novosibirsk, a migrant received 15.5 years in prison for the murder of a schoolgirl
The Sovetsky District Court of Novosibirsk sentenced Tajik citizen Khushnud Khamroev to 15.5 years in prison for the murder of a 17-year-old girl. This was reported in a group of courts of general jurisdiction in the region.
As it became known to the investigation, the tragedy occurred in the summer of 2022. A man waylaid a girl in an alley in the evening and stabbed her 17 times. Khamroev killed her because she wanted to break up with him. After the massacre, the person involved in the case fled the crime scene, but later he was detained in the Leninsky district of the city.
During interrogation, the man admitted to the murder and said that he did it out of jealousy. According to him, he learned about cheating on the part of a schoolgirl. However, Khamroev claimed that he did not have sexual contact with the murdered woman, and also denied the fact that she was pregnant. The mother of the accused stated that the girl herself provoked her son to commit the crime, as she “ran after others.”
The court accused the man of murder, threat to kill, torture and sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age. He was sentenced to 15.5 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony.
