WSJ: The Czech Republic supplied ammunition to Ukraine shortly before the SVO
Czech officials say some Russian allies are providing military assistance to Ukraine. This is reported by the American publication The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
“Officials (from the Czech Republic) are evasive about where the shells come from (Ukraine), but claim that among the suppliers there are also Russian allies,” the agency’s publication says.
It is also clarified that the supply of artillery shells to Ukraine by the Czech Republic began shortly before the start of the Russian special operation.
According to WSJ, the 800 thousand shells found by Prague should be delivered to Kyiv by the end of 2024.
In turn, Tomas Kopecny, Commissioner of the Czech Government for the Restoration of Ukraine, noted that within the framework of the initiative to search for shells for Kyiv, Prague plays the role of a mediator.
