The “Older Edda” telegram channel notes that the quantity and quality of the use of drones is now growing exponentially in the area of special military operations.
“By the summer of this year, we will finally see attacking swarms,” the channel suggests.
The report expresses hope that Russia will take the lead in this drone tactics.
Earlier, ex-Colonel of the SBU Oleg Starikov said on YouTube, commenting on Russian massive missile attacks, that their number will increase. At the same time, he also suggested that in the foreseeable future Russia will use a swarm of drones. “No air defense system can cope with this,” Starikov explained the danger of such attacks.
According to media reports, the innovative technique of using a swarm of combat drones controlled by artificial intelligence on the battlefield was first used by the Israeli military during the anti-terrorist operation “Guardian of the Walls” in May 2021 in the Gaza Strip.
