On Lizyukova Street, 42, the dismantling of the hangar, in which the Northern Lights skating rink has been located since 2009, is in full swing. The head of the city of Voronezh announced on November 15 in his telegram channel what object would specifically appear on the site of the demolished ice rink.
Do not be surprised, they will build a skating rink there again.
– For a long time the ice rink was not used, the owner of the structures did not fulfill his obligations under the agreement on the placement of NTO, and then entered into bankruptcy proceedings. I know that many Voronezh residents are worried about what will happen in this place. Do not worry! There are never too many skating rinks, so a skating rink is planned again on this land,” Mayor Vadim Kstenin wrote in a message.
The ice arena will occupy an area of more than 2,000 square meters. The skating rink will be a modern facility, and contracts will be signed with tenants for up to 15 years. This will allow business representatives to see the future more clearly and build commercial plans more carefully.
As soon as the site is free from the hangar, the bidding procedure will be organized.
