The mayor of Voronezh commented on the appearance of inscriptions with his name on piles of snow

Inscriptions with the name of the mayor of the city, Vadim Kstenin, began to appear on piles of snow in Voronezh. Mr. Kstenin stated in Telegramthat the piles were collected specifically for loading, and promised that they would definitely be removed, regardless of whether there are inscriptions on them or not.

“I see piles of snow with my name on social networks and the media. I ask the authors of the inscriptions not to worry. As always, these heaps and many others – regardless of whether they are registered or not – will definitely be removed from the streets of the city. This is exactly what they were formed for: for loading,” the mayor wrote. He attached to the publication photographs with heaps of snow, on which were written the words “Kstenin, where is the equipment?” and “Mountain named after Kstenin”.

Mr. Kstenin said that city services continue to deal with the consequences of snowfall on the streets. According to him, the administration cannot directly influence the situation in the courtyards now, but the mayor promised that as priority tasks are completed, the authorities will make every effort to clear highways and secondary passages to asphalt.

Snowfall in Voronezh began on December 8 and lasted for several days. By December 13, the level of precipitation in the city exceeded the norm by 125%. Against the backdrop of bad weather, interruptions in the supply of food to stores began in Voronezh. So, December 14 “Vesti Voronezh” reported empty shelves of bread, chicken and other frozen foods in select stores around the city.
